ADAPTATION INTO TURKISH OF THE COMPUTATIONAL THINKING TEST FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Computational thinking is recognized as a vital skill related to problem-solving in technological and non-technological fields. The existence of different sub-domains this has been pointed out. Therefore, there need for tools that measure these sub-domains. Because its structure includes skills, computational from the used academic skills. Moreover, no special programming knowledge required ability. In order younger age groups, it possible apply measurement tool without adult support. At point, aimed reveal skills Turkish children by adapting test developed 7-9 groups into Turkish. For purpose, an adaptation research study was performed TechCheck-2 Relkin et al. (2020). study, total 372 primary school students studying Ankara were contacted. Item analyses on data obtained result application test. distinctiveness difficulty values items making up Kuder Richardson-20 scores calculated. end analyses, seen could be valid reliable children.
